The "Hostal El Cerro"
is an ancient stone building standing on top of a hill overlooking
the Southern side of Gredos Mountain range and the Tietar
River Valley. From this building you can see the marvellous
sights of our village : Pedro Bernardo.
The House is divided into three floors
or areas devoted to a Cafeteria- restaurant and rooms. We
offer great quality in our facilities which is something our
visitors can appreciate , impossible to ignore: wide and comfortable
rooms and lounges, as well as a good service and excellent
traditional cooking.
You will have a great time in our cafe as there is music,
air-conditioning, a public phone box, Newspapers, table games,
the produces of the region and a weather station too. The
latter is very important for those people who are very fond
of flying.

Restaurant with a view
In our restaurant you will be able to enjoy our specialized
dishes with quality beef from Avila, and also saample
wines of land. The restaurant also offers a daily special
menu (also on Sundays and holidays).
If you are planning to come to the ´mountains`(la
sierra) and you want to try a good roast goat it is
a good idea to phone us in order to book it as we want
it to be ready when you arrive here.
We also suggest you trying our goat stew (caldereta
de cabrito) . It is better if you phone us and tell
in advance that you want to try it.
For those people who are thinking of arranging a special
celebration (a wedding, a company dinner, a christening,
or a communion, etc) we offer test menus previous to
the occasion and all the services that involve these
social events. We understand your needs and therefore
you can rely on us for all the arrangements.
