Activities

It is highly recommended to practise climbing and hiking, on foot or on horseback, along the foot paths towards the ´Risco de la Sierpe`( so called because a local legend tells there is a giant snake or ´Sierpe`that is keeping a treasure) to the ´Risco del Fraile`or through the mountains of ´Cabeza Aguda`either on its east or west sides. It is also recommended to take a stroll through the oak woods of ´Robledoso`and ´Cantogordo`(a megalithic monument) as well as along the banks of River Tietar and also through the Eliza narrow pass and the hornillo lagoon which has an extremely beautiful waterfall and many ravines and solitary streams.

For those who prefer to go horse riding, the routes on horse back are very numerous and difficult. There is an exercise ring for horses from which is possible to ride along footpaths , public paths and other mountain or flat rural roads.

The magnificent mountain slopes and the accesses to exercise different free flying activities are perfect for practising Paragliding and Hang-gliding as there are excellent runways and many possibilities for long distance flights with good temperature or thermic conditions from January until october. In the house we have a weather station for flying purposes.

You can also practise Paint Ball , a well known war game with paint useful to prevent workers from becoming stressed at work.
